About Us

Proprietors Beverly and Jeffrey Leonard opened Delaney Street Mercantile in Coburg, Oregon, in 2003. In the Spring of 2005 they acquired a beautiful plantation home overlooking the Gulf of Mexico in the city of Pass Christian, Mississippi. There, the second Delaney Street Mercantile was set to open on September 1, 2005 when, on August 29, Hurricane Katrina destroyed the entire town, leaving no remnant of the shop itself.
The Leonards started over and were fortunate to acquire a beautiful corner location in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. They completely renovated this historic 1860's home, both inside and out, and Delaney Street reopened March 1, 2006.
As always, Delaney Street features elegant, unusual and light-hearted home accessories and gifts from the US, France and Italy. It remains the exclusive home of the legendary Cajun Flying Pig (Pigasus Cajunus).
